Sony Pictures introduced a new band of Bad Boys 3 Announcement for the long-running sequel, in which Mike Lowrey ( Will Smith ) and Marcus Burnett ( Martin Lawrence ) are back together for one last outing. The movie finds Marcus retired from retirement when someone tries to kill Mike, but the two of them fail to do so alone. Captain Howard ( Joe Pantoliano ) forces them to work with a team of young policemen, played by Vanessa Hudgens , Alexander Ludwig and Charles Melton . There is a culture shock.
The trailer contains f-bomb and gory footage, so it’s probably NSFW, but Sony seems to message here: The fact that Michael Bay Failing to notice this sequel doesn’t mean the franchise’s overrated R nature is gone. In fact, Joe Carnahan (The A-Team) was originally in line to direct Bad Boys for Life before starting the creative differences with Smith, but he still has credit in the movie script, so we imagine that a good part of his plans will stick. Instead, the newcomers Adil El Arbi and Bilal Fallah he’s in the director’s chair looking to do a solid job of keeping Bay’s aesthetic in the sunlight.
