JAKARTA– Good news for all you MacBook Pro fans. The reason is that the latest generation of MacBook Pro will reportedly bring improvements in terms of cameras.
Unmitigated camera offered on the webcam reaches a resolution of 1080p. This is a pretty good upgrade considering the device has long adopted 720p resolution.
The news is known from a leaker @dylandkt who often predicts the latest features from the line of Apple devices on Twitter.
“I know a lot of people are referencing the Linus video (which is a great video) but it’s good to note that the upcoming MacBook Pro will actually get an upgraded 1080p webcam for the next model and so will the entire Mac lineup,” wrote @dylandkt. page SlashGear, Monday (12/7/2021).
The rumors follow rumors of a new 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pro in the third quarter of this year. The device will reportedly be revealed in late September 2021, just before the debut of the next-generation iPhone and Apple Watch models.
While what upgrades may be obtained is still unknown. In addition to the previously rumored webcam, the removal of the Intel chip in favor of the M1 hardware inside the 16-inch MacBook Pro is also expected.
That machine has been the only model left in the lineup to run Intel hardware. Another interesting leak suggests that at least one of the new MacBook Pro models coming this year will have more ports than its predecessor.
Apple seems to be famous for offering minimal ports. The lack of ports is one of the biggest complaints of Apple hardware for many users.
Thankfully, there’s no shortage of Apple docking stations on the market for those who need more ports. Docks adds the port that Apple removed back, making the machine even more useful, especially for those who have to run a lot of peripherals and accessories for work or play. September is just a few months away, and it’s likely that more details will leak between now and later.
