The LDC poultry producer’s greetings ceremony, Friday December 5, 2024 in Sablé-sur-Sarthe, was an opportunity for Christophe Pajot to announce a new identity for the Sabolian pole that he manages.

What until then was called the Sabolé pole brought together the different Sablé du poultryer sites (St Laurent, CPE-CEPA, DPE, Grand Froid), the PLB logistics platform of Bailleul, Guillet in Morannes-sur-Sarthe/Daumeray, the Cavol in Loué but also the LDC Acquitaine and Losse Volailles des Landes sites. A pole which goes well beyond the Sabolean borders and which required a new name. It will now be the Pôle Terravenir.

This new identity was put in place to bring together entities that work together.

“A commercial and marketing project”

A “commercial and marketing” project. “We want better analysis of statistics to determine the right target for more volume and efficiency in terms of communication,” continues Christophe Pajot.

Across the division, 75% of sales are made to mass distribution, 20% to catering and 5% to export.

The objective with this new organization is to balance things a little more.

New centers of activity throughout France

A new organization which is not specific to the “Sabolian” territory, it is being set up at the level of the LDC group.

“Upstream and poultry are organized around these centers of activity,” continues Philippe Gélin, president of the LDC group. “In addition to Terravenir, we also have VDR in the South West, Volena, LDC upstream, Maître Coq, SBV and Lionor.”
