MAZ will surprise fans with the debut of new products at Comtrans-2023
Fans of Belarusian auto giants are looking forward to the start of the international exhibition Comtrans-2023, which starts on September 5 in Moscow. The long-awaited new generation truck tractor MAZ-541SA5 will be presented at the MAZ booth. This “iron monster” should compete with the flagship model of KamAZ – the legendary 54901 family.
Under the hood of the newcomer is a 13-liter 550-horsepower Weichai Power engine. It will be paired with a 12-speed Fast Gear robotic gearbox. At the same time, the “brain” of the truck will be MAZ’s own development – an innovative hypoid axle. MAZ-541SA5 will be able to “pull” road trains weighing up to 44 tons. Its maximum speed is 85 km/h. Two fuel tanks with a capacity of 750 liters each will provide this “handsome” cruising range of 3,700 kilometers.
The beginner’s cabin is equipped with all the amenities of a “five-star” hotel: air conditioning, two berths, excellent sound insulation. And thanks to disc brakes, a stabilization system and a package of electronic assistants, the driver will feel completely safe behind the wheel.
