From today until February 4th Epic Games Store is giving away a new free PC game to download, this is the Metroidvania Dandara, proposed in the exclusive Trials of Fear edition which includes numerous bonus contents in addition to the full game.
This is the official synopsis released by the developers: Salt’s world hangs on the brink of collapse. Citizens, once free spirits, are now oppressed and isolated. But all is not lost, because beyond the confines of this ether of fear a heroine, a ray of hope, is rising. Her name is Dandara. Welcome to a unique 2D platform game, metroidvania style, full of mystical creatures and boundless exploration. Defy gravity as you jump from floors to walls and ceilings like it makes no difference.
The Trials of Fear Edition by Dandara offers in addition three new areas to explore, an unreleased final boss, extra powers and mechanics, remixed soundtrack and a new secret ending. You can download Dandara for free from the Epic Games Store from January 28th at 5:00 pm (Italian time) and until the same time as February 4th, at the moment it is not clear whether this week Epic will also give away a second game, we will find out in the next few hours when the promotion will actually be online for everyone.
