• Yasmine Sabry has two faces in her departure

The artist, Yasmine Sabry, sparked controversy after the company that produced her series “Raheel” released the promotional poster, as she appeared with two characters, which led some to guess the story of the series, and to speculate about the character that Yasmine will play in her new series after her absence from the Ramadan drama.

Some expected that Yasmine would play two different characters or twin characters, and others expected that it might be a story of the rise of a simple girl who achieves successes and becomes a successful businesswoman.

The series is scheduled to have only 15 episodes. It is written by Mohamed Abdel Moati and directed by Ibrahim Fakhr. Yasmine Sabry previously collaborated with author Mohamed Abdel Moati in two works, the series “My Story” and the series “The Legend.”

The last series that Yasmine Sabry participated in was in the Ramadan drama, the series Second Chance in 2020, where she played the character of a girl who is exposed to a nervous shock due to her fiancé’s betrayal, so she decides to take revenge by claiming that she has lost her memory. It was written by Mostafa Gamal Hashem and Mohamed Sayed Bashir and directed by Markus Adel, and Ahmed Magdy Wahba co-starred with her. Magdy, Ayten, Amer, and Diab.

• Hala Shiha returns to acting again

With the release of the posters for the series “Empire Meem” starring Khaled El Nabawy, Hala Shiha appeared among the heroes of the series, thus officially announcing her return to the field of acting after her famous dispute with Tamer Hosni in the movie “Not Me,” which ended with her announcing her departure from artistic work and disavowing the movie.

Hala’s last participation in the Ramadan drama season was in the series Betrayal of a Covenant with the star Yousra. Despite the success of the series, Hala faced criticism for her role after her facial features changed as a result of some cosmetic materials such as “lip fillers” and “Botox.”

It is clear that Hala is excited about her return to art again, as she published a picture from behind the scenes of the Mim Empire series, accompanied by director Mohamed Salama and a group of the work’s heroes, through her Instagram account. The series is taken from the original novel by writer Ihsan Abdel Quddus, and the script and dialogue were written by Mohamed Suleiman Abdel.
