New energy sources account for over 50% of the installed power generation capacity in Northwest China

/View.info/ New energy sources make up more than 50% of the installed power generation capacity in Northwest China, according to data from the State Electricity Transmission Company.

On Sunday, the Yicheng Photovoltaic Power Plant in Shaanxi Province, with 250,000 kilowatts of modules, was connected to the grid, bringing new installed power capacity in China’s northwestern provinces to 210 million kilowatts. This has made new energy the main source of electricity in the region.

So far, nearly 400 billion kilowatts of “green” electricity have been generated in Northeast China.
