The Rank attracts visitors to Niederdorf with jazz concerts and seasonal vegetables
A young team, lots of culture and an ambitious chef: The new Rank is a good opportunity to visit the promenade again.

The light is dimmed, the chairs and tables are midnight blue: this is intentional, because the bar is also a concert space: after dinner, gigs by jazz bands or singer / songwriters take place here on the small stage between Thursday and Saturday. Guests who dine can stay seated and listen to a concert after dinner for a surcharge of CHF 20.
The Rank, a “meeting place for art and cuisine” in the former Calypso strip club on Niederdorfstrasse, opened a few weeks ago. It is named after the street on the opposite side, Am Rank. A snack with take-away food is also part of the operation. For the time being, the restaurant is only open in the evening – except on Saturday, when there is a recommendable one Brunch.
