New COVID-19 cases linked to National Hospital for Tropical Diseases

On the morning of May 6, the Hanoi Center for Disease Control (CDC) announced four new cases of COVID-19, including two linked to the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases.

These two cases are relatives of patients at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases. The other two had had close contact with a positive case in Vinh Phuc.

On the same day, the Health Service of Thai Binh Province (North) announced that this locality had detected five new coronavirus contaminations, all linked to the epidemic focus at the antenna of the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Kim. Chung, Hanoi.

Authorities in Thai Binh have decided to apply social distancing throughout the province from May 6 at 12:00 p.m.

The Hung Yên Province Center for Disease Control also announced two new cases of COVID-19 linked to the branch of the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Kim Chung, Hanoi.

All these localities are urgently looking for cases of contact with new infections, in parallel with the application of other measures to limit the spread of the virus.
