The Resolution clarifies, “The IFE will be paid through a bank transfer to the applicant’s account, as long as this channel is possible. Failing that, the payment will be managed through other modalities that Anses has available.”
Some of the new requirements to be able to collect the IFE are: be between 18 and 65 years old; be an Argentine citizen, resident or foreigner with two years in Argentina; not receive any member of their family group, if any, income from (formal work, monotax in category C, unemployment benefit, retirements, pensions or retirements of a contributory or non-contributory nature, whether national, provincial, municipal or of the City Autonomous of Buenos Aires).
Resolution 16/2020 also states that none of the family group that receives social plans, supplementary social salary, We Make a Future, Promote Work or other national, provincial or municipal social programs, except for the income from Progresar, “are released from to meet the requirements of holders of the Universal Child Allowance for Social Protection and Pregnancy Allowance for Social Protection ”.

Outside the plans are also employment and job training programs administered by the Ministry of Labor. Except for those that provide benefits or financial aid that constitute a complement to any type of remuneration, those that are excluded from the (IFE). The same general guidelines and criteria will be applied to analyze the compatibility of the (IFE) with social plans and employment programs granted by other jurisdictions. According to the agency, “persons deprived of liberty, under any modality, will not be able to access the (IFE).”
