A shortage of skilled workers and problems in finding staff pose major challenges for employers. At the University of Trier, companies and organizations now have the opportunity to recruit students as employees and draw attention to themselves via a new career portal.
Since February 1, employers have been able to post relevant offers for students and graduates, such as job advertisements for starting a career, internships, theses or offers for working studies, honorary post or voluntary service, on the portal free of charge. Not only companies or tradespeople have access, but also employers in the public sector as well as clubs or associations.
The Career Service of the University of Trier offers the new career portal together with the company JobTeaser. In addition to the publication of jobs and internships, the portal aims to achieve better networking of all stakeholders in the phase of career orientation and career entry. In addition, companies and organizations can register for a partnership with the university’s career service.
In addition to publishing jobs and internships, partners have the opportunity to provide students and people registered in the portal with information about the company, recruiting events, workshops, lectures or professional orientation and career entry.
