New Bus Stops Added to Lalín-Hospital de Conxo Bus Line

Santiago de Compostela, July 22, 2023 The bus line that connects Lalín and Silleda with the Hospital Clínico de Santiago and the Hospital de Conxo will have two new stops starting this Monday, July 24, in the town halls of Boqueixón and Vedra.

The bus will stop in Lestedo and A Gándara, thus reinforcing the attention of the intermediate towns of the Lalín-Hospital de Conxo line, which was launched last Monday the 17th to facilitate, mainly, the trips to work of health personnel from Lalín and Silleda.

The new stops are located on the itinerary that the bus line has been carrying out along the N-525 road, so this improvement in the service does not mean an increase in the total duration of the trip for users, which remains at 1 hour and 10 minutes.

With the expansion of these two stops, the Xunta has responded to the requests submitted by users and by the Boqueixón and Vedra Town Halls, thus guaranteeing a better service to Santiago.

This line has 6 expeditions every day of the year, 3 going and 3 coming back, adjusted to the morning, afternoon and night schedules of the workers. As the duration of the trip does not change, the services will continue to leave the Lalín bus station at 06:35, 13:35 and 20:35. For the return, the buses leave the Hospital de Conxo at 08:15, 15:15 and 22:15.

The approved measure responds to the ongoing commitment of the Xunta de Galicia to improve interurban public transport services, adapting them, as far as possible, to the mobility needs of users.
