The new CEO of bpost, Chris Peeters, will receive a signing bonus of 250,000 euros. This is a one-off bonus awarded to compensate for what Peeters loses with his current employer Elia because he is leaving. He receives that amount on top of the basic salary of gross EUR 585,000 and other bonuses. “That’s a lot of money, but you also play in the Champions League of the business community,” says expert Xavier Baeten.
