The board of directors and commissioners of PT Pertamina (Persero) changed after the appointment of Deputy Minister of BUMN II Rosan Roeslani as deputy chief commissioner (wakomut).
“Yes, that’s right (become deputy head of Pertamina),” Rosan said when confirmed by CNNIndonesia.com, Thursday (27/7).
Rosan replaces former SOE deputy minister I Pahala Nugraha Mansury who is now being shifted by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to the position of deputy foreign minister in a cabinet reshuffle last Monday (17/6). Now, Rosan is accompanying Basuki Tjahaja Purnama alias Ahok who is entrenched as the main commissioner of Pertamina.
He was appointed as Deputy Commissioner of Pertamina at the general meeting of shareholders (GMS). This stipulation is contained in a copy of the Decree of the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises as the General Meeting of Shareholders of the Company (Persero) PT Pertamina Number SK-211/MBU/07/2023 dated 25 July 2023 concerning Dismissal and Appointment of Members of the Board of Commissioners of the Company (Persero) PT Pertamina.
“With this new composition of the board of commissioners, Pertamina is ready to fulfill the aspirations of the shareholders. We congratulate and succeed to Deputy Main Commissioner Rosan Roeslani and thank Pahala Mansury for all his dedication to Pertamina,” wrote Pertamina’s Vice President Corporate Communication Fadjar Djoko Santoso in a statement. official statement.
Rosan was the Chair of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) for the 2015-2020 period. He also served as President Commissioner and Independent Commissioner of PT Bumi Resources Tbk, before resigning because Jokowi was appointed deputy minister of BUMN.
In addition, he is the founder and president director of PT Recapital Advisors, a company engaged in the financial services sector. Rosan was also the chairman of the Recapital Asset Management (RCAM) Investment Committee.
He studied Management, General Business, and Finance at Oklahoma State University (USA). Rosan then earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Arts (MA) degrees at Antwerp Europe University with a cum laude predicate.
