334 died of COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. This is the largest number of deaths per day since the beginning of the pandemic in Bulgaria in March 2020.

94.31% of new coronavirus deaths were not vaccinated.

5286 Bulgarians have contracted COVID-19 in the last 24 hours or nearly 11% of those tested by PCR or antigen tests. This is shown by the data on the Unified Information Portal. However, the new infected were 721 less than a week earlier. On Tuesday, the biggest data for the newly infected are announced due to the equalization of the data from the weekends.

The tests performed were 48,136. Of these, 6,620 were PCR and 41,516 were antigenic.

A total of 638,048 people have been diagnosed since the beginning of the pandemic. The total number of active cases is 114,301.

8516 people are in hospital, 723 of them are in intensive care units. 1411 are newly admitted to hospitals, and 89.09% of them have not been vaccinated.

The doses of vaccines administered are 2,978,843, of which 13,290 in the last 24 hours.

The cured for the last day are 3496. With them their total number grows to 498 339.
