The municipality of Neufchâtel-Hardelot is organizing a mobilization against pediatric cancer as part of the “Golden September”, this Sunday 18 September from 10:30 to 13:00 in the center of the resort.

Environment 2,500 children and adolescents are diagnosed in France every year. This is the leading cause of death from disease in children, and 500 children die from cancer each year. However, 20% of current treatments remain ineffective.
As part of the “Golden September”, the international month of fight against childhood cancerFrançoise Hennequart, councilor delegated for actions in favor of health of the municipality, prepares this first local edition with the pediatric ward of the Duchenne hospital of Boulogne-sur-Mer, the OSE association (Obiettivo smiles dei bambini) and the OSR Association (Opale Shore Ride).
Entertainment for children
OSE will be present with a booth where nurses will answer your questions. The OSR, organizer of the Opal Harley Days, will use its members’ Harley-Davidson motorcycles to offer a moment of conviviality to sick children. Children treated in the hospital will be able to ride Harleys. The Neufchâtel-Hardelot photographic association, Déclic’passion, will photograph them and offer them the photo. To share these moments, the bikers of the region are invited to participate in this event.
Especially since the OSR will continue to provide entertainment for the station Final of the springboard Opale Harley Days at 3pm, with two bands in concert, Tyl Boulogne and 25 Hours.
