In today’s Opening Night Live of gamescom 2020, the story expansion for Doom Eternal was announced today. “The Ancient Gods: Part One” will add a completely new campaign to Doom Eternal.

After the fall of the Khan Maykr, an imbalance of powers threatens all of creation. With the help of an old ally, the Slayer must work his way back to Urdak, where he will once again determine the fate of the universe.
The trailer sets the mood for the story DLC with many new scenes. There are many new elements to be seen, but the trailer does not reveal the exact details yet. We expect these shortly. However, a release date was announced. The Ancient Gods: Part One will be available on October 20th for PC, Xbox One and PS4.
The Ancient Gods, Part One is included in the Year One Pass and the Deluxe Edition of DOOM Eternal and can be purchased digitally.
