On the one hand, the Postal series did not boast of any unusual qualities throughout the series, it only became famous for its brutality and dark humor. The makers of the traditional NPL game traded it for the ability to inflict violence on unarmed civilians.

Tet DL of 2011 was by far the worst. Besides the fact that its humor again moved far beyond the boundaries of good taste, the game did not satisfy even the majority of fans, because it was practically unplayable to break. The reason for the change was disagreements with the distribution company, which in the course of development went through a financial crisis and tried to heal a little quickly. As a result, the Running with Scissors team lost control of the entire project and, unable to fix it, started doing it wherever possible.

Now, though, there’s reason to celebrate. It denied the validity of the license for the built-in piracy protection, and since the game cannot be started due to this, its sale on Steam had to be stopped. Konen u people will not be able to buy this trash, rejoice in the army now on my twitter profile. And to make matters worse, they’re hosting a party on Discord, which they tentatively call the Rest in Piss P3 Celebration.

I can’t tell if the game was really that bad, or if it became an inside joke, as we hadn’t even reviewed Postal 3 at the time. However, given the (poor) flight quality, I’d still prefer it (see our review).
