Unfortunately, a few days ago, the official information about the planned closure of another 41 Tesco stores in Poland appeared. More than 2,500 people are to be released.

Salling Group has once again decided to carry out collective redundancies in stores and distribution centers and to close more Tesco Polska stores of which it owns – informs NSZZ Solidarność Tesco on social media.
Who will be affected and what are the reasons for it?
The exemptions prepared by the Danish company will cover two professional groups. The first are basic positions – it will be a maximum of 2,249 people, and the second are employee supervision positions. There will be fewer layoffs here, because there will be 300 redundancies.
