Ninth series MotoGP 2021 lauched at the Assen Circuit, the Netherlands, Sunday (27/62021) evening WIB. Maverick Vinales from the team Monster Energy Yamaha will start the race from the first position.
The Spanish rider was the fastest in the qualifying session which was held on Saturday (26/6) night WIB. Top Gun recorded the best time of 1 minute 32.116 seconds.
Vinales teammate, Fabio Quartararo, was in second place with a time of one minute 31.885 seconds. The third place is filled with Ducati rider, Francesco Bagnaia.
Takaaki Nakagami of the LCR Honda team took fourth place, followed by Johann Zarco (Pramac Ducati) behind him. Miguel Oliveira (Red Bull KTM) started the race from sixth position, ahead of Alex Rins (Suzuki Ecstar) and Jack Miller (Ducati).
Aprilia team rider, Aleix Espargaro, will start from ninth position. Joan Mir (Suzuki Ecstar) became the last rider to start the race in the top 10.
Winner of 10 races at Assen Circuit, Valentino Rossi, is in 12th position. The Doctor started the race just behind Repsol Honda rider Pol Espargaro.
Espargaro’s teammate was unlucky, Marc Marquez. The Baby Alien crashed in the qualifying session, and had to start from 20th position.
