Netflix lists “Dragon Quest: Your Story”

Through a entry It was recently announced on the Netflix website that the VoD provider will soon offer the film “Dragon Quest: Your Story” on demand as “Netflix Original”. No further details are known yet.

Anime movie launched in Japan in August 2019

The film was directed by Ryūichi Yagi (“Stand By Me Doraemon”), Makoto Hanafusa and Takashi Yamazaki (“Parasyte” live-action films), who also wrote the script. The music comes from Koichi Sugiyama (“Dragon Quest: Dai no Daibōken”).

Yuji Horii, the creator of the “Dragon Quest” franchise, worked on the film as a supervisor and also wrote the story. The Japanese theatrical release was on August 2, 2019.
