To commemorate the 90th anniversary of the birth of manga artist Fujiko F. Fujio, Netflix and animation company BONES will launch the “T·P Bon (Time Patroller)” (T·P Bon (Time Patroller)) animation in 2024, marking the 30th anniversary of the birth. The animated adaptation of Fujiko F. Fujio’s work will be released exclusively on Netflix.
The science fiction adventure comic “T.P. Bon” has been serialized since 1978. An ordinary middle school student “Ping Pingfan” encounters a girl from the future “TP (Time Patrol)” member “Reem Strim”, and… Fanfan also became a member of T·P and embarked on a big adventure through time to save those who unfortunately died to ensure that history is not affected.
“T·P Bon” will be released in two seasons. The director is Mayu Ando, who has directed “Flower Flower Story” and “The Story of the Foreign Emperor”, and produced the music for “Four and a Half Dormitory, Lost Youth” and “Little Witch Academia” Oshima Mitsuru. In terms of voice acting, Akihisa Wakayama voices the male lead, and Atsumi Tanezaki voices Reem Strim.
