“Nestle Bulgaria” AD wants to acquire the distributor of nutritional supplements “Iso – Plus BG” EOOD. This is clear from a notification received by the Commission for the Protection of Competition (CPC).
The company “Iso – Plus BG” was founded in September 2012 as a subsidiary of the most successful Greek company in the field of nutritional supplements “Iso Plus”.
The Bulgarian division of “Iso Plus” deals with the wholesale distribution of vitamins, minerals, herbs and nutritional supplements, including the Solgar brand products of the Nestlé group.

We recall that Nestlé Health Science acquired most of The Bountiful Company’s brands, including Solgar, Nature’s Bounty, Osteo Bi-Flex and others.
In accordance with the concentration, Nestlé Bulgaria AD will take over the distribution of Solgar brand products in Bulgaria.
The currently considered transaction is expected to affect the Bulgarian market for wholesale trade in vitamins, minerals and food supplements, the CPC adds.
