Although Nene Leakes stormed off the last part of The Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion, her name was still getting brought up. Yovanna Momplaisir was the “snake” of the group and claimed Leakes was the mastermind behind it all. The “friend of” said that the “tastiest peach” was the one who asked her to record her co-stars. Porsha Williams was one that did not believe what Momplaisir claimed and after the reunion, Leakes praised her.
Leakes doesn’t have many fans within the RHOA cast but Williams was one that had her back throughout the season 12 reunion. Following the conclusion of the 3-part event, Leakes shared a photo of herself and her “Lil’ sis” with kind words about her.
“Looks like my lil’ sis Porsha Williams held it all the way down,” Leakes posted. “Thank you P for keeping it real, standing up and having my back like a G. Y’all go show Porsha some love tonight.”
Williams replied to the post by adding, “Nene Navy from your page sent for me… too cute. Love ya, real recognize real.”
Kim Zolciak-Biermann, a former cast member, also added a comment with two emojis with the heart eyes.
Nene Leakes blasts Yovanna Momplaisir
Leakes was not at the reunion when Momplaisir chimed in about “Snake-Gate.” However, the OG of Atlanta knew that she was going to make an appearance and slammed her days before the reunion aired.
“She’s thirsty, honey,” Leakes told ET. “She ain’t never been on TV. She wanted to be on here by any means necessary. So, all they had to do was pick up the phone and say, ‘A camera will be shining.’ and she was like, ‘Oh my god! Well, let me get my hair and makeup on and come and show up.’ So, she shows up and they got her where she can turn against me. So, I guess they thought it was a good idea.”
The Fashion Police alum believes that Bravo will not extend her a peach and make her a full-time housewife next season.
“I feel sorry for her,” she said. “She will never be a castmate over here and that’s so sad, because she has been used and abused. Bye, girl! She should feel very used. I can’t imagine Bravo hiring her to do anything. If so, they dropped down 10 levels.”
Is Nene Leakes returning to ‘RHOA?’
The future for Leakes returning to RHOA is not certain yet. After a season where much of the drama revolved around her, the Glee alum seems to be hesitant.
“I don’t know, I just don’t know,” Leakes told People about coming back for season 13. “I got back and forth with it every day, I feel like it’s a big conversation I need to have with the network and with production. Because if they value their talent in some sort of way, then we need to talk. We need to come up with some sort of compromise here.”
Leakes says that the constant arguments with her fellow Housewives have taken a toll on her emotional state.
“I keep saying to people, ‘I want my life back.’ I can’t have these girls fighting with me on TV for no reason anymore,” she added. “I’ve got to move forward. And if that’s all you want from me, I have to move on and I got to go. Me and my wig got to leave, honey.”
Bravo has not officially confirmed which current RHOA stars will be returning for season 13.
