Chairman of the Servant of the People faction David Arakhamia declares his readiness, together with adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mykhailo Podolyak, to arrive in Mariupol for negotiations with the Russian side on the evacuation of Ukrainians.
He stated this in his Telegram channel.
“Mykhailo Podolyak and I are ready to arrive in Mariupol for negotiations with the Russian side on the evacuation of our military garrison and civilians,” Arakhamia stressed.
He added that representatives of the Ukrainian delegation are in constant contact with the Ukrainian forces in Mariupol.
“Today, in a conversation with the defenders of the city, a proposal was made to hold a round of negotiations on the evacuation of our military garrison directly on the spot. For our part, we are ready to leave for such negotiations at any time, as soon as we receive confirmation from the Russian side,” the deputy stressed.

Earlier on Wednesday, Mikhail Podolyak announced the readiness of the Ukrainian side to hold a special round of talks in Mariupol.
“Yes. Without any conditions. We are ready to hold a special round of negotiations in Mariupol. One on one. Two on two. To take our guys, Azov people, military, civilians, children, alive and wounded. Everyone. Because they are theirs. Because they in my heart. Forever. No options,” he wrote on his page in Twitter.
Prior to this, the Azov regiment, which defends Mariupol, reported the consent of the Ukrainian authorities arrive in a city blocked by the Russians.
Blockade of Mariupol: what is known
From the first days of the invasion, Mariupol has been the hottest spot in Ukraine. 90% of all buildings in the city were destroyed. The fights don’t stop. The city is constantly bombed. It is impossible to deliver food or medicines to Mariupol. The city is under blockade.
Lately in Mariupol the occupiers are hitting Azovstal with bombs they shoot from artillery and tanks at the housing sector. Part of the city is already under Russian control.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation in Mariupol, thousands of local residents have died.
