CDU clearly wins Schleswig-Holstein election

The CDU clearly won the state elections in Schleswig-Holstein. According to the latest extrapolation, Prime Minister Günther’s party has gained more than eleven percentage points and has reached 43.4 percent. The Greens also gained a good five points and, with 18.2 percent in the Kiel state parliament, are now stronger than the SPD – they achieved 16.0 percent; a minus of more than eleven points.
