NBA: Clippers dominate at half time one
The Clippers made it clear at the beginning of the game that as the home side they would not let anything slip against one of the worst teams in the league. Above all, it was Bledsoe who got off to a vintage start and just pushed three threes through the trap in the first few minutes.
After a dunk by Ivica Zubac, the Clippers then set themselves apart by double digits for the first time in the middle of the first quarter, and the Pistons really didn’t resist much. Cunningham didn’t find anything in his throw (1/6 FGs in the first half), as did Grant (1/10) and Bey (4/11).
The Clippers played good defense, dominated the boards (34 to 20 at half time) and let the ball go offensive. A man on the buzzer jumper finally put on a 24-point lead at halftime.
NBA: Hartenstein with a good appearance
As a result, it went on like this: The Clippers didn’t play outstanding basketball by far, but it was enough for a really disastrous Pistons team. George held back noticeably in the offensive and turned in in the middle of the third quarter with a quick five points for the first time when his team had completely lost the rhythm.
But he let himself be infected by it and put one threesome after the other on the ring (1/9). However, the Pistons could not take advantage of this phase at all, played far too imprecisely and proved why they are the third worst offensive in the league. So it went from Pistons’ point of view with -20 in the last part of the game.
There the second Clippers unit around Hartenstein was allowed to let off steam, who often steered the game as a passer from the pear, did a good job and also participated two crashing dunks was rewarded . An and-one and two free throws hit by Cunningham put 1:59 minutes on the clock again to -12, but it shouldn’t get much closer.
