Franck Ntilikina changes franchise. The rumor was swelling and it is now official. The Dallas Mavericks announced Thursday they have recruited Frank Ntilikina, now ex-New York Knicks point guard, also international and silver medalist with the French team at the Tokyo Olympics. Not extended by the Knicks, Franck Ntilikina was free from any contract. The Dallas franchise has yet to reveal the terms of the contract signed by the French player.

After four seasons with the Knicks, Ntilikina holds career averages of 5.5 points, 2.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists in 211 games (55 starts).

The 23-year-old full-back will have spent four seasons in New York, with little playing time and half-hearted performances averaging 5.5 points, 2.0 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game. In 211 games played, however, he has only held 55 times. At the Dallas Mavericks, Ntilikina will notably be associated with the Slovenian prodigy Luka Doncic, whom he beat in the semi-finals of the Tokyo Olympics with the France team.
