BRUSSELS (Dagbladet): NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg says there are no signs of a will to reach a negotiated peace solution for Ukraine from Russia.
– On the ground, we see no sign of it, says Stoltenberg at a press conference on Wednesday afternoon.

After the urgent meeting with NATO defense ministers, he said that they agreed on renewed support for Ukraine.
– NATO Defense Ministers agree on significant support for Ukraine. This applies to military supplies, financial support and humanitarian aid.
– In addition, the member countries receive tens of thousands of refugees, says Stoltenberg.

He also reiterated a strong appeal to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“President Putin must stop this war, right away,” Stoltenberg said.

At the same time, NATO defense ministers are asking the alliance’s military leader to draw up advice to strengthen the defense of member countries in the future.
