Jakarta

Trainer Indonesian National team Shin Tae-yon confirmed that the visit of the Garuda squad to the boarding school together Mochamad Iriawan not for any particular purpose.

The Indonesian national team will be in Bandung from 27 May to 2 June. They were there holding a training camp to undergo a test match against Bangladesh.

Indonesia vs Bangladesh took place at Si Starling Harupat, Bandung Regency, Wednesday (1/6/2022) night WIB. The match ended with a score of glasses.

The day before the match, the Garuda squad, together with PSSI General Chair Mochamad Iriawan, visited the Daarut Taubah Islamic boarding school. This resulted in criticism of the team.

From these criticisms, there are those who accuse the visit of having a personal interest. There are also those who think that the Garuda squad was present because of coercion from PSSI.

“I am upload story This is because we see that there seems to be a misunderstanding about our national team coming to the Bandung Islamic boarding school, May 31,” wrote Shin Tae-yong about the negative accusations related to coming to the pesantren.

“Our national team comes to the Islamic boarding school to give the best to the youth or boarding school students. I also often do social care in South Korea.”

“And this event was also held to give dreams and hopes to young people. This idea is 100 percent from me. Then I asked the General Chair of PSSI to be helped so he agreed and allowed it.”

“The General Chairperson of PSSI did not ask for any percent of me to come or think about my own interests. So please don’t misunderstand.”

“Please give support to the Indonesian national team in the future too. Thank you very much,” said the man from South Korea.

The Indonesian national team is currently in Jakarta and will go to Kuwait to appear in the 2023 Asian Cup Qualifiers. The event will take place from 8-14 June 2022.
