“National Police Officer Suspected of Money Laundering and Report Irregularities”

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The middle-ranking officer of the National Police, AKBP Achiruddin Hasibuan is said to have a ‘fat’ account containing tens of billions of rupiah.

AKBP Achiruddin was in the spotlight after his son, Aditya Hasibuan, abused a student named Ken Admiral and went viral on social media.

Head of the Public Relations Group of the Center for Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis (PPATK) M Natsir Kongah said that the accounts of Achiruddin and his son contained tens of billions of rupiah.

PPATK sniffed, the middle-ranking officer committed the crime of money laundering (TPPU).

Natsir was reluctant to answer whether AKBP Achiruddin used the nominee mode or other people to disguise his wealth.

“There are indications of money laundering,” said Natsir when contacted by Kompas.com, Thursday (27/4/2023).

Meanwhile, the Head of PPATK, Ivan Yustiavandana, said that the transfer of the children’s and father’s accounts was of fantastic value.

The transfer value of the account was considered not in accordance with his profile as a middle-ranking officer in the Bhayangkara Corps.

“Yes, very significant,” said Ivan.

PPATK stated that AKBP Achiruddin’s unfair transaction value was indicated to have come from money resulting from irregularities.

Nevertheless, Ivan was reluctant to reveal the alleged irregularities. He also hasn’t answered whether AKBP Achiruddin uses nominees.

“Incidentally there are indications of irregularities in the source of funds,” said Ivan.

Currently, PPATK has blocked the accounts of AKBP Achiruddin and Aditya Hasibuan for analysis purposes.

According to him, PPATK had started to analyze the odd account before Aditya Hasibuan brutally abused Ken Admiral.

PPATK traced Achiruddin’s transactions in the period before he assumed the rank of police officer.

“Since the rank was before AKBP, we are studying it,” he said.

LHKPN Odd and Harley Davidson Stupid

Not only is he suspected of money laundering, Achiruddin’s State Officials Wealth Report (LHKPN) is also odd.

The amount of wealth reported by the officer on 24 October 2011 and 24 March 2021 is the same, namely IDR 467,548,644.

The 2011 LHKPN was submitted in his capacity as an investigator or Head of the Narcotics Unit of the Binjai Resort Police, North Sumatra.

Meanwhile, the 2021 report was submitted in his capacity as Head of Unit 1 Sub Directorate 1.

The wealth component consists of land and buildings IDR 46,330,000, a 2006 Toyota Fortuner Minibus IDR 370,000,000, and cash and cash equivalents IDR 51,218,644.

Meanwhile, on his Instagram social media, AKBP Achiruddin often uploads luxury Harley Davidson vehicles with police number B 6168 HSB and Rubicon cars.

However, the vehicles worth billions of rupiah are not listed in the LHKPN.

Most recently, KPK Deputy for Prevention and Monitoring, Pahala Nainggolan said the Harley Davidson license plate was fake.

Pahala made this statement some time after asking for the Harley Davidson’s police number and checking its ownership status.

“Stupid,” said Pahala when contacted by Kompas.com.

Responding to the oddities of AKBP Achiruddin’s LHKPN, Pahala stated that his party had formed a team.

An assignment letter to clarify AKBP Achiruddin’s LHKPN has also been issued.

“I have made a team and assignment letter for clarification,” said Pahala.

Nevertheless, Pahala was reluctant to reveal the material or schedule for the clarification of the LHKPN.

He only said that currently the KPK was collecting data related to AKBP Achiruddin’s wealth.

“Currently collecting data,” said Pahala.
