This Saturday, April 13, the first date of the National Jet Ski Championship ‘Yacht Club de Pucusana’ Cup was held, in a contest organized by the Peruvian Sports Federation of Motonáutica.
The tournament was held with the presence of almost twenty registered drivers, including Annia Cilloniz, Rally champion, and will have two modalities: Circuit, with its categories, Novices, Amateur, Experts and Pro; and Endurance, with its F1 and F2 classes.
The current national champions are: Sebastián Oliver (Circuito Noveles), Axel Ramírez from Iquitos (Amateur), José Antonio Vela from San Martín (Experts), Willy Talavera from Pucallpa (Pro), Kiko Chía (Endurance, F1), and Wilber Pacheco (F2).
It is worth noting that our country, after a decade, will once again host the South American Jet Ski Championship in November, where it will go for its seventh continental team crown, having obtained the titles in Lima 2011, Lima 2014, Cartagena, Colombia 2015 , Punta del Este, Uruguay 2018, Córdoba, Argentina 2019, Tucumán, Argentina 2022.
