The visit of the NasDem presidential candidate, Anies Baswedanin troubled areas. NasDem considers that the visit aiming to introduce Anies should be done because Anies is hated in cyberspace.
It is known that this visit was restricted after the venue permit for the event was revoked by the Aceh regional government. Not only that, Anies’ schedule was also limited to Riau.
NasDem Vice President Ahmad Ali communicated the venue Anies in Riau there were problems because the local government organized an event at the same time in that place. So, Ali said, his party inevitably had to change headquarters.
Ali said NasDem regretted the incident. Because according to Ali, the activities of political parties are community education activities that should be supported by the relevant local governments.
“Look, this activity is for the community. For NasDem, it is just a pity. The regional government should be heavily involved in facilitating all political parties to carry out their activities. Because the activities of political parties are community education activities” Ali told reporters on Thursday (1/11/2022).
Ali hopes that local government will become an important part in implementing the activities of political parties.
“So what has happened is that we hope that the regional government will become an important part in facilitating the implementation, not to mention the use of public places. The regional government should facilitate this so that the elections are not full of tension” , he said.
Also, Ali said, the event was attended anies who is the NasDem presidential candidate. He wants Anies to be known by many people before he officially competes in the 2024 presidential election.
“Also, let’s say the NasDem brought in Anies, the important thing is that people know about Anies. God willing, Anies will run for president, people should know about him,” he said.
The problem is Ali feels that Anies is hated and not known because of social media. He said the NasDem is currently obligated to present Anies directly to the public so that Anies is better known.
“If Anies, God willing, is going to advance as a presidential candidate, the public needs to know him. So after people get to know Anies, please rate him. What do you want to hate, what do you want? Unfortunately, Anies is hated but unknown. Because of the news on social media,” said the former chairman of the DPR’s NasDem faction.
“So that’s actually our obligation today, to carry these formations forward,” he continued.
