The successful completion of the mission marks a new period for the American space agency NASA. From now on it will use this type of transport just above the earth, from commercial parties such as SpaceX by Elon Musk.

Hiring parties like this saves NASA billions, which can then be reinvested in trips to the Moon or Mars.
“On behalf of the SpaceX and NASA team, welcome back to Earth. Thanks for flying SpaceX,” the SpaceX Control Center told the astronauts just after they splashed into the water like any other airline.

President Trump tweeted after the landing and wrote it was “fantastic” to think the astronauts are back safely. It is the first time in 45 years that a manned space mission of Americans has returned to Earth in this way, with a splash.

Once the four parachutes were sighted off the coast of Florida, it was clear that the SpaceX Dragon capsule had survived the voyage through the atmosphere. The parachutes then slowed the capsule from about 560 kilometers per hour to about 25 kilometers per hour, just before the splash in the water.
The astronauts were examined by doctors after landing and were eventually taken to shore by helicopter.
