In the interview at the photo shoot of Vogue she tells me that the people who knew she was going to have a child could be counted on one hand. The British do not disclose the name of her daughter. She does want to clear up a misunderstanding: “She is not adopted, she is my child.”

entertainment">The baby is already a real jet-setter as Campbell takes the little one everywhere when she travels for work. The top model still runs plenty of fashion shows, although that is sometimes a bit “nervous” between the much younger models. The British admits that she had more fun at work when she formed the first generation of supermodels with Linda Evangelista, Cindy Crawford and Christy Turlington. “We worked hard. But we all liked it so much and encouraged each other. We did eight shows a day and partied with the designers at night. I sometimes wonder if today’s young models could have kept up with us.”
