A new rail operator will launch on French rails as part of the opening up to competition.
Its name: the Train. Its concept proposes a so-called “high-speed” train designed for the Regions, explains the private operator’s website.
“2h52 to do Bordeaux / Nantes is a good idea, isn’t it? Today, for comparison, it takes 4h50 via Paris. But moving faster is not the only expectation expressed by travellers” specifies the Train.
The first trains in the colors of this new railway company should run in the second half of 2023 between Bordeaux and Nantes, according to Usine Nouvelle.
