Former Energy Minister Representative Nada Al-Bustani tweeted via her Twitter account, in response to interim Prime Minister Najib Mikati’s media dumping statement.
Al-Bustani said: If the Prime Minister does not have the time or the ability to understand the plans presented by my political team in the electricity sector, let me read the story of the decree you signed, but I was Energy Minister and that he presented it to the people and you see that since 2019 he has been with him in the ministries of the presidency of the government and no one has decided for me!
He added: The immorality and obscurantism of the media is when I ask about the Prime Minister’s promise of 10 hours for the Lebanese, and the answer comes with a sentence of lies, platitudes and attacks on the person.
And he continued: In any case, if the Ministry of Energy were under our tutelage, today we would not be at its mercy and we would not be in breach of the constitution.
