Nacarat wins the award of two lots in Reims, alongside Groupe FIC and SPI Promotion

While it is obvious that the pandemic (and its consequences) will have (and already has) many impacts on the design of offices, the disappearance of these does not really seem for tomorrow. A recent study by JLL confirms this.

Following a survey conducted by the board of 2,033 employees working in offices around the world, “four employee profiles have been identified”. “Traditional workers” (“100% office”) represent 35% of the sample; “office fans” (“one or two days teleworking”), 37%; “welfare addicts” (three or four days teleworking “), 22% and” freed workers “(” 100% remote “), 6%.

Nevertheless, regarding “traditional workers”, Rémi Calvayrac, “head of workplace & design” at JLL, underlines that “like 61% of French people, their priority is to reconnect with their colleagues and to live with them memorable moments. . 46% of employees in France are asking for more social spaces ”…

Regarding “office fans”, JLL says that if they “want to come to the workplace between three and four days a week, it is to live an exceptional experience. They show high demands on their company, going far beyond the subjects of work, collaboration and innovation ”. And to emphasize that “40% of employees in France would like to be accompanied by their employer in a healthier lifestyle and 36% would like to be surprised and amazed at work”. And Flore Pradère, director of research and prospective offices of tomorrow at JLL, added: “the need to recharge one’s batteries is at the heart of expectations today. 60% of French people would like spaces connected to nature, gardens, terraces or even vegetable gardens. These are, moreover, the number 1 post-crisis spaces, in front of places of socialization ”…

“The well-being addict”, for its part, represents “a strong trend across the country: 74% of French people want more to preserve their post-crisis professional and personal balance and 70% find the idea of ‘a four-day week. When they go to the office, well-being addicts will come “to consume” services that will make their daily lives easier. ” JLL emphasizing that “this aspiration for a service office is general: 71% of employees in France dream of having access to well-being services (spa, massage, yoga room), 62% to sports services (shower, gym, coach) and 59% to cultural services (organization of visits and shows, exhibitions of works of art, etc.) …

As for the “freed workers”, “already hyper-nomadic before the crisis”, they “are taking advantage of the telework boom to express their appetite for 100% distancing”. They embody, according to JLL, “the 54% of French people who are attracted to the idea of moving far from their place of work” …

In short, there is also no doubt that the offices will have to be redesigned …
