Nabilla Vergara has, on several occasions, said that it is concerned with the animal cause, but since it has been displayed on social networks with its new Birkin Himalaya bag from the Hermès brand, all in crocodile, the message seems scrambled. While many fans and detractors – but also the Peta association– asked her to return her new acquisition to 380,000 euros, offered by her husband for her birthday, she tried to justify herself.
“I saw this bag a long time ago and my husband gave it to me. I put it on the networks. And there, Peta writes to me telling me to return the Hermes bag. Many people say that it’s not cool for crocodiles, but it’s not me who killed him. I know it’s sad but I didn’t know he was in this. ” is it justified to the Parisian.
On Twitter, the argument “it was not I who killed him” opened the way for many hijackings, thus creating the hashtag #JustifyLikeNabilla. Here is a selection.

In 2015, the applicant had asked for it to be renamed, criticizing “cruel slaughter practices” for the crocodiles used to make it. She had finally given up this fight, claiming to have been satisfied by the measures taken by Hermès in this regard.
