Mystery Remains After Meatball Makers in Samarinda Found by Residents

Jakarta

Meatball seller mysteriously lost was finally found. But the mystery still remains.

The disappearance of the meatball seller went viral on social media because residents suspected that the meatball seller had been kidnapped. Because, at the scene there were 3 bowls containing meatballs that were being prepared and rombong (trading carts on motorbikes).

Not only that, the seller’s sandals were left at the location, Jalan Ring Road, Sungai Kunjung District, Samarinda, on Monday (15/11) night.

“A search has been carried out by members assisted by residents but the seller of this meatball has not been found,” explained the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Sungai Visiting Police Ipda Roni Wibowo when contacted, Tuesday (11/16/2021).

From CCTV at the scene, the meatball seller, known as Darianto alias Anto (39), arrived at the location at 18.30 WITA. After leaving the cart, the resident of Jalan M Said immediately made meatballs without a buyer.

“From this CCTV, the person concerned came directly to make the meatballs, but had not had time to mix the meatballs, he (Anto) immediately left his group by walking across the street,” said Roni.

Roni dismissed the suspicion that the meatball seller had been kidnapped. Because, from the CCTV at the scene, no one approached or abused Anto.

“We’re still investigating, it’s still odd why he (Anto) didn’t finish making meatballs and then walked straight away from the group,” he said.

The police then questioned several witnesses, including Anto’s wife. From the provisional information, it is known that Anto has never had a problem with anyone.

But the wife said Anto had unpaid bank loans. At that time the police will examine witnesses and collect other information to determine the cause of the disappearance of the meatball maker.

Meatballs Found

A mobile meatball baker, Darianto alias Anto (39), was found lying under a tree on Jalan Kh Captain Soedjono, Sungai Kapih Village, Samarinda. Anto was found in a daze.

“He was found under a tree lying down,” explained the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit at Sungai Kunjang Police when he was met in his room, Wednesday (11/17/2021).

Anto mysteriously disappeared while selling at night on Jalan Ring Road Samarinda on Sunday (14/11). Roni explained that Anto was found on Wednesday (17/11) at 15.30 WITA in an unstable condition because he had not eaten for two days.

Anto was then taken to the Hermina Hospital by the police.

“We immediately took him to the hospital, after making sure his condition was good, we took him to the Polsek to be met with the family,” said Roni.
