Muzikālā banka is boldly starting ticket sales for the 2022 show

This Tuesday, August 24, ticket sales for the final show of the “Musical Bank 2021” and the rehearsal in Daugavpils will start. The most valuable pop and rock song of Latvian Radio 2 will be determined on January 29, 2022.

Given that due to the current situation with Covid-19, it is quite bold and a little reckless to plan events on the premises even a month in advance, the move of the organizers of “Muzikālā banka” to start selling tickets by the end of January is considered to be a particularly risky step. “It is already known that the final show will undergo several transformations by introducing another stage solution and a fan zone. Admission to the event will be with an interoperable Covid-19 certificate for illness or vaccination, ”the organizers tempt. In the final show of “Muzikālās Banka”, it is planned to offer new technical solutions at the Daugavpils Olympic Center – a stage protrusion or the so-called tongue will be created in the auditorium so that those present feel closer to the musicians. It is also planned to introduce a special fan zone for the most loyal visitors of the closing concert.

Throughout the year, the most valuable pop and rock songs of the week and month are determined with the listeners’ vote on the website www.muzikalabanka.lv. On Latvian Radio 2, Muzikālā banka will play three times a week – on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 14.05 and on Saturdays from 12 noon. ”.

Every year, the Music Bank survey ends with an ambitious award ceremony, in which the authors and performers of the songs whose works are highly valued by radio listeners and the jury take part. The song “Dancing Loneliness” performed by Intars Busulis won the title of the most valuable song of the year in “Muzikāla Banka”. The second most valuable song was “Carnival Youth” performed “Summer without Internet”, while the third place was taken by “Triana Park” and Igo’s composition “Mālos gray”.
