The head of the organizer of the National Remembrance, Musthofa Aqiel Siradj, appreciated President Joko Widodo’s peaceful mission (Jokowi) to Ukraine and Russia. Musthofa revealed that the kiai were nervous when Jokowi visited the two countries.
“In addition, we also appreciate the visit of Mr. President Joko Widodo to Russia and Ukraine. why are you here?ya Allah hum, hum safe. Thank God, you are safe,” said Musthofa in the courtyard of the Merdeka Palace, Central Jakarta, Monday (1/8/2022).
Musthofa said the kiai wish Jokowi success in bringing peace missions to Ukraine and Russia. She is grateful Jokowi can return to the country safely.

“This is an extraordinary and proud initiative,” he said.
On that occasion, Musthofa also spoke about the anniversary of Indonesia’s independence this year, which feels extraordinary, because Indonesia is the host of the G20. Musthofa said Indonesia has always spoken for other countries in facing global challenges and crises.
“Indonesia is in a position as the G20 presidency as the host of the G20 forum. Indonesia not only has an agenda to fight for its national interests at the global level, but also becomes a voice from development that contributes to solving problems,” he said.
Besides, he also praised Jokowi in dealing with COVID-19. Indonesia’s success in dealing with COVID-19 is said to have received appreciation from other countries.
“We appreciate the success of the President in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. Many countries in the world acknowledge the success of the president in dealing with COVID,” said Musthofa.
