Italian singer and presenter Laura Pausini is married to musician Paolo Carta. Photos from the ceremony appeared on the Wednesday Instagram page of the 48-year-old Pausini.
The wedding took place in Rome. Pausini and Carta’s daughter, Paola, was the bridesmaid for the newlyweds.
News of the wedding on social media followed a few hours after the weekly Moreover published the marriage papers. These were already available on the website of the municipality of Rome.
Pausini and 58-year-old Carta have been together for eighteen years. The wedding was actually planned for last year, but had to be postponed due to corona.
Pausini scored hits in the nineties like Loneliness in Strange loves. She is one of the most successful Italian artists in the Netherlands.
