Victim of pancreatic cancer and complications related to Covid-19, David Stypka, died in January 2021, at the age of 41. He was awarded Album of the Year and Best Singer awards, while his song “Farmářům” was named Song of the Year.

Originally from Frýdek-Místek, in Moravia-Silesia, David Stypka has devoted himself to music since his youth. Author of intimate and poetic songs, he broke into the music scene relatively late: aged 38, he was nominated for the Anděl Talent of the Year 2015 award, and a year later, he received his first award. as a solo performer.
