Students pay tribute to the 21-year-old student and water polo coach, Lilie James, who was murdered on the premises of the facility. On Thursday, a woman was found dead in the bathroom of an elite school.

According to the police, she had numerous head injuries, which may indicate that the murder weapon was a hammer. According to the BBC, cameras located at the facility captured a 24-year-old hockey coach who followed Lilie James into the room. The man later allegedly left the bathroom alone and called the police.

The services have not publicly commented on the potential motive for the murder, but Australian media reported that Lilie James was in a relationship with the 24-year-old. They had been dating for just 5 months and had recently ended their relationship. The man seen at the scene disappeared and the police initiated a large-scale search.

In the eastern suburbs of Sydney, in Vaucluse, the services found items that could belong to the potential murderer. Officers also secured a car found in a nearby parking lot, Wilson Carpark. “The Guardian” reports that the body of a man was fished out of the coastal waters of Vaucluse and identified as the former partner of the murdered Lilie James.
