The Bouwinvest Retail Fund has sold the De Muntpassage shopping center in Weert to private investor Van de Laar.

The shopping centre, which includes Kruidvat, H&M, Albert Heijn, Zeeman and Rituals, has an area of ​​approximately 15,570 m² and 154 parking spaces. According to the platform real estate market the shopping center was sold for an amount of EUR 32,270,000.

In 2018, the shopping center was still undergoing major renovations. The side on the Nieuwe Markt in particular underwent a major metamorphosis. In October 2019, the renewed Muntpassage festive opening.
