First victory of a woman at the head of the town hall of Ducos. Aurélie Nella, vice-president of the Péyi’a party therefore wins against Marius Narcissot and Louis Marie-Sainte with more than 3,000 votes.

If she is elected by the future municipal council, it will be the first time in its history that a woman will be at the head of the town hall of Ducos.
Aurélie Nella’s list therefore won it this Sunday, June 28, 2020 with 3,096 votes. However, she was faced with two experienced men, Marius Narcissot from MIM and Louis Marie-Sainte from PPM.
Aurélie Nella, vice-president of Jean-Philippe Nilor’s party, Péyi’a, is 35 years old. She is a parliamentary collaborator, doctoral student and member of the executive council of the Collectivity of Martinique.
On the evening of the first round, 15 weeks ago (March 15, 2020), she totaled 32.62% of the votes for a participation amounting to 42% on Ducos.
Behind her Marius Narcissot had obtained 27.61% of the vote and Louis Marie-Sainte, 25.78%.
