Munich awaits the next football spectacle! The NFL will be visiting FC Bayern’s Allianz Arena again next season.
The German record champions officially announced this on Thursday via social media. The Carolina Panthers are the team that will have home advantage.
“We are looking forward to welcoming the NFL to our Allianz Arena for the second time. The encounter in autumn 2022 was an unforgettable experience, and we want to build on that,” said Andreas Jung, FC Bayern Munich’s Chief Marketing Officer, in a statement.
FC Bayern Munich has already played in the Carolina Panthers stadium as part of the Audi Summer Tour 2016. The team from Charlotte will now be coming to Munich in 2024.
In 2022, the NFL stopped in Germany for the first time as part of the “International Series”. At that time, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and superstar Tom Brady were guests.
