Proyecto Legado welcomes the superior national volleyball league at the Polideportivo Villa El Salvador

Villa El Salvador, March 8. – Excitement and joy were experienced today in the welcome made by the Special Pan American and Parapan American Games Legacy Project to the nineteenth edition of the Senior National Superior Volleyball League (LNSV), at the Villa El Salvador Sports Center. The contest, which will bring together the 10 best teams in the country, will begin on Wednesday, March 10 and will take place at this Pan-American headquarters.

The press conference, organized by the Volleyball Federation, was attended by the executive director of the Legacy Project, Alberto Valenzuela; the president of the Peruvian Volleyball Federation (FPV), Gino Vegas; the president of the Peruvian Institute of Sports (IPD), Gustavo San Martín; and the Manager of Commercial Purchasing and Marketing of Media Networks, Lucia Corso.

It is a joy to meet again with this sport, thanks to the enormous effort made by the Peruvian Volleyball Federation in coordination with the Legacy Project. This Pan-American headquarters is once again at the service of the discipline that has given us many joys”, Stated Alberto Valenzuela.

Meanwhile, the president of the Peruvian Volleyball Federation thanked Legado for once again granting the facilities for nearly 150 national athletes to compete on an Olympic stage, with international-level infrastructure, spacious, clean and with closed air circuits, necessary for the correct development of the discipline.

In this sense, the Manager of Commercial Purchasing and Marketing of Media Networks praised Legado’s work and reaffirmed her commitment to continue working hand in hand with FPV.

It is important that Volleyball returns to a venue managed by Legado, because they are first class venues, well cared for. It is exciting to have stadiums like this and we look forward to the start of the League”, Highlighted Lucia Corso.

Natalia Málaga, as coach of the Latino Amisa club, is one of the surprises that the National Superior Volleyball League will have. The four-time Olympian, runner-up at the Seoul Games, returns to this league after four years, to seek glory from the Villa El Salvador Sports Center.

Participating in the tournament, which will be broadcast by Movistar Deportes, will be: the current champion Universidad San Martín de Porres, Regatas Lima, Deportivo Geminis, Deportivo Jaamsa, Circolo Sportivo italiano, Alianza Lima, Rebaza Acosta, Deportivo Alianza, Molivóleibol and Latino Amisa.

Legado will ensure that the progressive return to official competencies is carried out safely, complying with biosafety protocols, in spacious and ventilated rooms, which have not lost international quality thanks to the specialized maintenance they receive with state-of-the-art technology.
