MSV Duisburg 2019-2020 Season Schedule: Home Game Against SSV Ulm 1846 and Canoeing World Championships Clash

Duisburg. MSV Duisburg has a home game against SSV Ulm 1846 on the last weekend in August.

Third division football club MSV Duisburg starts the new season in Breisgau. This is what the new schedule that the DFB published on Friday provides. The Zebras will play their first match at SC Freiburg II on the weekend of August 4th to 6th. The exact appointments are expected in the course of the coming week. It is unlikely that this match will be the official opening game on Friday, August 4th.

There will be new kick-off times next season. The Monday game is no more. A game is scheduled for Friday at 7 p.m. On Saturday, five games start at the usual kick-off time at 2 p.m. The “top game” is new and will start on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. Three games follow on Sunday with kick-off times at 1:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

MSV will play its first home game between August 4th and 6th against TSV 1860 Munich as the start of the first English week. There is a big problem at the end of this trilogy. The Canoeing World Championships are taking place in Duisburg, and the finals will take place on the weekend (23rd to 25th August) in front of a large crowd. Hosting a soccer game in the arena seems difficult. The MSV then has to do with promoted SSV Ulm 1846. An appointment on Sunday evening could alleviate the dilemma a little.

The home game against Rot-Weiss Essen is between October 27th and 29th. The season ends for MSV on Saturday, May 18, with the away game at Dynamo Dresden. This could be an exciting showdown
